![]() ![]() From the time we drove up to the valet till the time we checked out, it was a herendous experience. We attended the wine & food event there at Ballys Atlantic City. It seemed like she was very used to people complaining about this dirty trick (pun intended). ![]() We went to the front desk to complain about the “bait and switch” and the manager offered up $100 refund, but not another room. It seems Bally's has no qualms about sticking its "non-high roller" visitors in this dump of a hotel. I brought my daughter down to the pool (not one employee, let alone lifeguard to be seen) and could only find abandoned piles of dirty towels - not one clean one. The hallways reeked like a dumpster, the elevators were the slowest I've ever experienced, there were dirty glasses on the floor outside of our room (not ours) untouched our entire stay, there were pistachio shells on the carpet in our room, used shampoo bottles in the horribly dated bathroom, the list goes on and on. What a bait and switch! This hotel seems nearly abandoned in terms of customer service or cleanliness. What the phone rep neglected to tell us was that we'd be shuffled off to the dilapidated Claridge hotel once we arrived. We paid $400 each for two rooms booked over the phone with Bally's.
